Here’s three finished watercolors, going to France soon, for the exhibit at Galerie Arludik. They are titled respectively: “With the Fox”, “With the Tanuki” and “With the Kappa”. They’ll go on sale at Arludik on January 27 together with amazing works from Tadahiro Uesugi and Ronnie del Carmen. We’ll be there too at the opening.
Here’s another watercolor I am working on … I like how the skin tone and red cheeks are turning out in this one.
Here’s another watercolor for the artshow in January. For these pieces I’ve been using several washes one of top of the other, gradually building contrast with darker more saturated colors.
