That’s such wonderful news … it’s a first one for an animated movie to open the Cannes Film Festival! Exciting.

GhibliWorld just posted a wonderful new watercolor by Miyazaki, for his new movie Gake no ue no Ponyo. A submarine?! Sweet. Don’t miss it, released images for this movie have been few, considering also its release date is in less than two months.
