Yep, it’s my birthday, 37 and counting … and to celebrate I thought I’d share some photos of our little Fio. She’s growing so fast, her first birthday isn’t even close but she’s already climbing around the house and standing … for a few seconds. Anyway, here’s the adorableness. Ciao.

I think it’s safe to say Fio is liking the new camera, she’d be quite happy to eat it if we let her. And yes she can sit up now and even crawl backwards … foreword maybe in a day or two. Amazing the rate at which they grow and learn.

Yay! It was about time to replace my defunct Canon. I’m really looking forward to trying out this 50mm lense! And here’s one of the first tests … wonderfully shallow depth of field. One more … this is just too much fun.

Took this a few months ago with my now defunct Canon Rebel, thinking of upgrading to the new Xsi or an Xti, repairing the old one is half the price of one of these new cameras. Sigh.

Just bought this wonderful book by Taro Gomi, who if you didn’t already know happens to be the man behind Mozzarella the monkey. Yep he designed her.
