I received a couple of days ago the “Gake no ue no Ponyo” image album (which is a sort of “pre-soundtrack” usually Studio Ghibli releases for their upcoming movies) and I must say I love the music Hisaishi Joe has started composing for this movie. It’s been a pleasure to listen to it with my [...]

Michel Gondry’s next movie: Be kind rewind. The trailer looks really promising. I was re-watching The Science of Sleep last night, such a sweet movie, even with its flaws it’s so enjoyable. They played mostly pieces from her newly released album Spiral, which I heartly recommend if you like Jazz or piano music in general. [...]

I am digging this italian magazine’s website: PigMag and especially its streaming radio: Pig Radio. Great name. Most of the content seems to be in Italian unfortunately, the website even features an interview with talented friend and colleague Sanjay Patel of Little India fame. Only for the italian versed readers … sorry. But there’s quite [...]

Watch it here. Some information on the music and the creators behind it here at CG Society. I wish they matched the the movements of the “tech-flowers” to the beat of the music more consistently but still a really nice video.

Ok, I am intrigued by podcasts, but I haven’t spent much time looking for interesting ones. Here’s the only one I listen to: Radio Ok Fred (the direct feed is here). I like their mix of European and Japanese music and they have an interesting and international trio of voices presenting the tracks.
So … ok [...]
