Shuppatsu ten

I can’t wait for this book to be out. Miyazaki’s Shuppatsu ten is getting a US release by Viz in July. The book contains writings and essays about film-making and philosophy by MiyaSan. Read more about what the book contains in this wonderful post at GhibliWorld.com. And since we’re on the subject, I was overjoyed to hear about Miyazaki San making a new manga for ModelGraphix magazine, and a comic about planes on top of that! :)

Wow, thanks for link Enrico. And speaking of manga, I just finished reading The Venice Chronicles and loved it completely! Truly an enjoyable and insightful read. I’d love to help the book sales, so is leaving a review on Amazon the best way to do that? Let me know because I’m definitely telling my friends about it.

Thanks for the info, cant wait for this book to be released, I bet it becomes an instant classic like that other animation book “The Illusion of Life”

The GhibliWorld.com post you linked also mentions that Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea is coming out soon too, can’t wait to see that too.
