Here’s the second part of the puzzle of extreme pencil nerdiness, came in the mail today, just in time for my trip! It’s a Kuru Toga mechanical pencil by Uni with an auto sharpening mechanism that rotates the lead as you draw or write with it. Pretty nifty and yes pretty geeky, they are also quite hard to find, after my friend James pointed this pencil out to me we both ended up purchasing one on eBay, it seems to be sold out at most specialty stores. I’ll let you know how I like it as I’ll take it for this test drive around France.
