Kitsune
Here’s one more watercolor for the upcoming show. For some reason I’ve been fascinated with Foxes lately, there’s quite a few of them appearing through out the pieces I did. Japanese Folklore has really a lot of great stories featuring Foxes and their tricks. Would love to make a comic of one of ‘em when I get a chance.

dan- the character in front of her nose is 狐, which is the Kanji for Fox, it’s read “kitsune”.
The characters all around the fox are the same word “kitsune”, spelled in the phonetic hiragana alphabet, きつね … fox fox fox fox …
Happy new year to you too!
Federica- Mi fa piacere la volpe blu sia di tuo gusto …
… grazie per aver commentato e Tanti auguri anche a te!
