Wow wow wow!
What a night! So exciting … we’re still recovering from it, I need a day or two of straight sleep and my daughter doesn’t recognize me anymore but other than that pretty awesome! (jk).
What a ride, can you believe we sold every piece in the auction!!! Amazing. thanks so much to all of you for the support we received. Thanks to all of you the Totoro Forest Project Art Auction was a resounding success! We’ll let you know as soon as we have an exact number as far as funds raised, but it sure is a pretty penny! We are also waiting on a lot of wonderful photos from our event photographers, stay tuned. So in the meanwhile what I can tell you is what my wife and I won: Matthew Forsythe’s and Jillian Tamaki’s pieces! How cool is that? Both Marit and I absolutely love these! We are very lucky we were able to get winning bids on these. ^_^

Enrico, it was a wonderful event – so well done and so well attended!
The Totoro Forest Committee did an extraordinary job in putting this together.
Congratulations!
I also love the pieces you won! I wouldn’t mind having those on my walls… not one bit!

I wanted to make it here so bad but an emergency came up and I couldn’t. I love the artwork and I hope to see more of it in the future – hopefully in person!

Winners were announced at the Small Press Expo this weekend, full list here. I am the proud owner of Jillian’s Totoro Forest piece. [...]
