Sunday morning inspiration

From the “Art of Ponyo” book. I think this is a Katsuya Kondo drawing. Wonderful studies of Ponyo, I especially love the upper right one of her sleeping. So effortless. Sorry for the crappy photo, but you know … you should just get the book to see for yourself, it’s filled with beautiful work.

    I’m getting more and more excited about this movie! Any idea when Ponyo will be released in the US?

    Can’t wait for my copy + the “ekonte” (they’ve been shipped from Japan).
    Also a little bit of teasing: I got last week a copy of the 400+ page exhibition book from the Ghibli Layout Exhibition! IT IS AWESOME!
