We’ve worked hard both yesterday and today to layout the art auction pieces at Pixar. We’ve had a ton of help from friends and volunteers, we are truly grateful. It’s really exciting to see these walls filled with everyone’s work and I am happy to say we are in pretty good shape! Most of the [...]

Random Wednesday afternoon chinamarker drawing. Not sure where this came out of. Not my usual stuff.
We’ve been able to release more tickets for the TOTORO FOREST ART AUCTION (happening on September 6th at Pixar). Get your ticket here! The event promises to be a night to be remembered!!! Here’s three more of the pieces I’m making for the “Forest Hero” level tickets to the Totoro Forest Art Auction. There’s some amazing color studies that Ronnie and Dice are also making for this and I can’t wait to see what Jennifer Chang and Bill Cone will do!
Yay, we have a cover! That took a while … updates on Amazon do tend to take a bit all around. I think we should soon also be able to browse inside the book. Incidentally the book is supposed to be go to print today. Update- browse inside the book now!

I hope your checking the Totoro Forest Project Blog, Dice and I are having a good time posting away about all these amazing artists whose work we worship. Inspiring stuff, don’t miss it! Even some really cool video versions of the pieces. In the meanwhile we are working real hard to make the art auction [...]

This woodfree (100gsm) cream colored paper is dealing pretty well with watercolors, not much warping, as it’s quite thick and the color went down nicely no bubbly weirdness that some of the moleskine regular paper gives. My pencil goes down really [...]
