Yay my first fathers’ day! I had a really nice one hanging out with my father and my father in law. Quite the wonderful dads! So a special greeting to all dads out there! Oh and as you can see Fio has officially figured out grabbing and chewing … oh yes.

Ronnie and I will be in New York City for Icon5 the illustration conference. We are giving a talk on July 4th at 2pm and on the 2nd we are gonna be sketchcrawling around NYC. Hope to see some of you at either or both events. Yay NY.

Went to see the premiere of Joe Goode Performance Group’s latest and did some of my usual dance scribbles in the dark. Fun.

I have a love and hate thing with videogames, but I’ve certainly always had a special weakness for 2d fighters. Street Fighter III is up there among the best. Such great characters and animation. Someone took the time to gather framegrabs of Miyazaki’s watercolors of Ponyo. I think these are mostly taken from the japanese tv special “Purofeshonaru”. One warning, the theme song will get stuck in your head for a day or two.
