It’s funny cos Guy Ritchie is meant to be a gooner, but I think he’s taking some subtle digs at Arsene’s youth policy - superstars getting the better of young unknown. But optimistic ending, if he scores…
i just discover that Guy Ritchie is the director, i dont like his movie but this commercial is really smart and well done. put the audience into the life of a football player, sure a lot of young people can be attracted from this, “you can be”, expecially the part with the two models, but i dunno, it’s an arm at double cut, appeal for fame…but you know this is the targhet for a commercial.
it’s a tendence of the media today, putting normal people, sitting in front of the tv, into a fake great life (big brother, survivor, talk show). it’s sad because today a kid dont want to be like maradona but like any football player, no matter who, matter the fame.
sorry for this heavy post, anyway i really like this commercial, really dynamic!
