I think I might have to buy a new hard drive or two just for photos of her. Good thing I don’t have a video camera … yet.

I read that it’s a good practice to take photos of your baby in all of their moods, because we always remember the smiles, but it’s the other kinds of faces and expressions, the ones that we may forget, that will truly bring joy to us when the years pass by. A kind of Photo Philosophy I guess. Congratulations - Marit & Enrico.
Beautiful beautiful picture!!!
And a beautiful name to go with it…..
Congratulations! You’re officially in the daddy’s club of the world!
And welcome to life, Fio! There will be laughs, there will be cries, but the people you meet and the friends you make would make it all worth your while.
@Enrico
actually i speak 3 languages. german, english and thanks to my sicilian fidanzata (7 anni insieme) even italiano.she shows me this wonderful warm language. i like to speak with her parents in their own language, especially with her nona in the sicilian dialect (for me is easier).

Congratulations! What a beautiful baby girl.
Here’s the lyrics of Disney’s greatest lullaby, “Baby Mine.”
Baby mine, don’t you cry.
Baby mine, dry your eyes.
Rest your head close to my heart,
never to part, baby of mine.
Little one, when you play,
pay no heed what they say.
Let your eyes sparkle and shine,
never a tear, baby of mine.
If they knew all about you,
they’d end up loving you, too.
All those same people who scold you,
what they’d give just for the right to hold you.
From your hair down to your toes,
you’re not much, goodness knows.
But, you’re so precious to me,
sweet as can be, baby of mine.
