Let me introduce you to …
… my beautiful baby daughter’s foot. See she’s a little shy, this is all she wants to show for now. Her name is Fio Giulietta Casarosa and she was born this past saturday. My wife and I feel unbelievably lucky and blissful to have her come into our life. This birth thing isn’t easy that’s for sure, on the contrary it’s darn long and hard (my wife is a hero, her efforts brought me to tears more than once) but such a intense test for the body and the soul can’t be anything but magical once you get through it. The most amazing thing is that this goes on every moment of the day in this world. Birth is an amazing thing we tend to just easily forget. I have a newfound and immense respect for all the moms of the world and all the amazing doctors, midwives, nurses and doulas that help us go through this unbelievable experience. Thanks to you all for the nice comments and well wishes that are coming in.

And you are spot on, child birth is truly one of the most amazing things. We had our son nearly three years ago and it brought me to tears as well, such a wonderful experience And my wife was amazing through all 33 hours of labour. We’re gonna go through it all again in a few weeks.
Congrats again and I hope you guys are getting enough sleep.
