Politics on an art blog?

Well, I am usually really adverse to talking politics, especially on this blog. Furthermore I can’t even vote (I am a legal alien, like Sting) but yesterday I remained surprised by this youtube prensentation by Stanford Professor Lawrence Lessig (whom oddly enough I mentioned last week here) breaking down Clinton and Obama. I found it truly impressive, laying down things in a very understandable and clear way. How often does that happen in politics? I’d love to see more and more of this kind of analysis and even though I don’t vote, I feel now I know who to root for.

Thanks for the great link Enrico. Mr. Lessig always breaks things down far better than I could hope to on my own. And is 99.9% of the time dead on.

    Enrico,

Thanks for this post. To be careful, I am not going to take a position one way or the other as political discussion can get heated on a blog dedicated to art and culture. But, I am continually impressed with your blog as you continue to make posts to broaden the mind and provoke thought.

Fascinating to see a “Karl Rove-ian analysis” of the Clinton campaign.
