I have only taken one real figure drawing class and my professor really didn't stress gesture drawing enough. One of the downfalls of not attending art school, I guess. I have a question regarding your watercolors -- I love the way you're able to recall miyazaki's essence in a ton of your work. But as for the sketches, do you usually splash on the color and then add the pencil? vice versa? different every time? I'm so hesitant in an artist that I guess I like to know other peoples' methods before I try and find my own groove.
