Google reader

I think Google Reader has quickly become my favorite way of keeping up with all the blog feeds I like to read. Do many of you use it?

I LOVE Google Reader! It’s the only way I view blogs now. If a site doesn’t have an RSS feed I usually don’t visit much. I do miss seeing the personalization of peoples sites but in some cases that’s exactly what I don’t miss. As a bonus, if you’re into buying things on eBay - you can subscribe to an eBay search (look for the RSS logo in the URL after you do a search) in Google Reader, so handy! Thanks for letting me share my excitement for this tool on your blog. I’ve been a fan of your work for many years! See you in Reader. -Dan

Right now I’m using the Vienna software, it’s great but only works for Mac. I have some friends that use the Google reader and they love it.

Yeah, I was using Bloglines until this month. A friend recommended switching over to Google Reader, and after a day I was sold.

I’ve got the Sage extension for Firefox open as I write this, it’s nice having it able to just pop up on the side of my browser whenever I want to add a blog or check feeds, similar to Flock’s feeds I guess. Google reader looks kinda cool too though, I’ll check it out :)

I use it too. They could have made the interface a little more spiffy, right now its looking quite plain, but as far as functionality is concerned I have little complains.

Google Reader is especially useful on the iPhone/iPod Touch!

I use Google Reader everyday. I live and die by RSS feeds. In fact, if a site doesn’t have one, I’ll stop reading it after awhile. Too much work to go out and find what I’m looking for when it can be delivered.

    I must be lazy.

yep, that is what I use too, that is how I noticed this post (I still visit the sites though)
I got started after seeing this video a few months back about some guy that read like 600+ feeds a day down from 1400 feeds - crazy

Here is the link to that site:

I actually read this post of Google Reader and immediately knew that I had to comment. It’s very useful, and now I have tons of news, webcomic, blog, and other feeds. usually I check everyday, and RSS feeds in general are a really convenient way to organize websites.
