Tekkon Kinkurito now on DVD
Tekkon Kinkurito the movie, taken from one of my favorite manga from Matsumoto Taiyo, directed by telented friend Michael Arias is out on DVD!! This is exciting news, given that many of us in the States didn’t get to see this movie. Get yours here.

Depends on which of the Japanese editions you got. The US/UK DVDs contain an audio commentary not included in any of the Japanese releases. And the other special features of the US/UK release – “making of” doc, etc. – are not part of the Japanese no-frills edition (those are only included in the Japanese “deluxe” boxed set).

Thanks Michael for the heads up. Its unbelievable to actually get a personal reply from you.
I got the 2 disc edition, but I think I will still go ahead and grab the US version for the commentary.

Michael- thanks so much for the information Michael … I’ve just seen the movie last weekend and I enjoyed it throughly … congratulations again for this amazing feat of a film!
