Carl Zhang the young director of the upcoming Lovers informs me of a new twenty minute promo reel for it called “City of Lovers”. You can see it here. Impressive photography and evocative music give a great mood to this sneak peek. The movie is shot in Shanghai. Look forward to see it all together.

I was looking through photos of my trip to Japan in the fall of 2004. Great memories … here’s one of my Bento and Sketchbook, on a train from Nagoya to Takayama in Hida prefecture. Such a good “soulsearching sketching on my own” kind of trip.
I finished the “Night on the Italian Ferry” comic! I finally watercolored the last page !!! You can now read it all here. I am starting to assemble a SketchCrawling Volume 2 and this story is certainly going to be in it. Cheers and thanks for your undying patience.

We had the most amazing weather this weekend in the bay area, it felt like summer … I enjoyed it throughly: looked for new furniture, rode my bike, played tennis, barbecued in the sun – and – took photos of flowers …
