Aya Takano solo artshow

I have the pleasure of exchanging messages everyonce in a while with the amazing Aya Takano of the KaikaiKiki art ensemble. I absolutely love her paintings (I will own one of these babies sooner or later, mark my words!) and I soooo wish I could get on a plane and go to her latest solo artshow in Tokyo, which is running till April 24th.
But here’s good consolation for us who can’t make it to Shibuya: her latest book Tokyo Space Diary. Look forward to picking this up. Her latest work is really beautiful.

Interesting use of color here. Might I say, exquisite. I just might. Strange that no one else has commented here. I noticed your avatar has been sad for some time. I hope all is well with you. Looking forward to your return…
