Had a nice bike ride yesterday … up around Muir Woods. Fun roads, beautiful day. Here’s my ride, back in the days … when I was keeping it clean.

Is that the R1150? That’s one purty bike–even the topcase looks good, and I usually hate topcases. (Topcasi?)
Does that flyscreen do any good?

yah, r1150r … and the flyscreen does very very little … I should get a larger one … maybe in the spring.

Man, what are you doing with such a nice bike?
You’ve heard about Long Way Round, right? Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman rode around the world on R1150 GSes. I picked up a copy of their book for my brother this Christmas, and I got totally sucked in by it when I snuck a read in.

Hey Kean, i’ve seen some of the documentary and read a little bit of the book. I am also mesmerized by that crazy trip. Some amusing stuff in there, like when they have to eat goat’s testicles stew in Mongolia, yummy.
I really should pick the book up and read it all …
