Missing Dan

On January 15th of last year we lost a friend and a great talent here at Pixar. It’s been a year already … hard to believe. We still miss him … and we’re still bent on trying to spread the word about his inspiring work. In fact you can still buy Dan’s book of wonderful sketches: “IN YOUR FACE” right here. Makes for a great gift and gets you some good instant Karma: all of the proceeds are still donate to charity.     That’s sad and it’s harder when you are that young. I read he is the one who first catched the cuteness of baby Nemo…he will always be remembered through his works.

    I picked up that book about a month ago. I can’t remember if it was because it referenced here or at Tirade or somewhere else. Anyway, I liked the drawings in it.
