Heading to JFK in a few minutes … Going to Italy for the holidays. Kind of sad to leave, it was great to be here.

Hi there, I was browsing some art blogs and came across yours. I haven’t read much of it, but I did read your latest post about going to Italy for the holidays. As always, I get excited when I hear about someone who’s from Italy or is going there, because I myself used to live in Italy when I was younger. Ever been to Sardinia? Well, I used to live in the small island off the coast of Sardinia called La Maddalena, one of the most beautiful places on Earth! Actually, I think all of Italy is beautiful, and it’s the place where I really became inspired to become an artist. Anyways, I wish you the best of luck on your trip back to Italy. Boun Natale!
Paul- you know, I do usually sketch here in Italy , but never as much as I should … it probably has to do with the fact that this is quite familiar for me and not as interesting and different as a foreign country can be … but I should really get off of my butt … X)
Stephanie- Wow, nice … living on Maddalena sounds pretty amazing … so strange …
I lived in Genova, where I am currently staying with my folks … but I have been to Sardegna just this past July … and even made a comic of taking the ferry to it … (which I still have to finish … darn) but yeah love it there, I was in costa smeralda, Olbia …

Olbia, yes, I remember going there all the time, especially because of the mall they have there…well, it was the closest thing to being called a mall for that matter. And wow, you went on the ferry as well! I remember taking it a few times to Civitavecchia…think it was called Terrenia or something like that. But, yeah, good times :)…ever going to post that comic when your done with it? Well, I’m going to continue working on a drawing. Great blog as well as your Sketchcrawl one…I’m going to add them to my blog once I figure out how to work the blogroll.
