
Wow, what an amazing exhibition, I’ve loved Egon Schiele since forever and seeing this amount of originals from up close is amazingly inspiring! If you’re in NYC don’t miss this show! It’s on the upper east, 86th and 5th Avenue.

I’ve never heard of Egon Schiele but from that poster his art looks really cool! I’ll search him on the net

I’ve seen a very good exposition o Egon Schiele at Lugano – Switzerland. I am found of him.

I recently read about him in the Smithsonian or Nyorker. He was really young maybe 25? when he died and had such an impressive body of work. Van Gogh was only 37 when he died. These kind of things are little motivators to keep painting and drawing!

yeah that’s a great show, i remember they also had a great show at moma of his stuff some years ago, i was amazed on the size of some of the pieces really great stuff…

Yeah, he was amazing.. Ive always loved his sketches. His work had such incredible power.

amb- he was indeed young, 28, died of influenza … sad …
euralis- I remember that show, I had to miss it, since I was out of NYC for a few months … I was really pissed … X)
Tim S- indeed powerful … he really expressed a raw and direct kind of power … never was the word expressionist so well suited for an artist I think …
