Podcasts anyone?

Ok, I am intrigued by podcasts, but I haven’t spent much time looking for interesting ones. Here’s the only one I listen to: Radio Ok Fred (the direct feed is here). I like their mix of European and Japanese music and they have an interesting and international trio of voices presenting the tracks.
So … ok let’s share recommendations! Music or talk, what are the podcasts you can’t live without ?

http://www.animationpodcast.com is really cool. Also it’s not REALLY a podcast per se, but archive.org has audio files from the naropa institute of the Beats (Ginsberg, Burroughs, Anne Waldman, Phillip Whalen) lecturing about writing. Really fascinating stuff. http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=naropa

Hi Enrico, (great new blog! Love the fact that the picture on top changes everyday, and might I add what great pictures they are)

Anyhow, I highly reccomend the podcast of Harry Shearer’s LeShow. I’m a big fan of public radio, especially NPR, and LA’s own KCRW, where this show originates and is broadcast on Sunday mornings at 10am. I listen to it mostly for the news and the satire that comes with it, kinda like the Daily Show, but without all the big budget tv production aspects such as an audience or commercials. What’s cool is that he basically does this show for free because he can, and he’s been doing it for 20+ years! Check this for more info http://www.harryshearer.com. Well, considering how much I’ve written about it, I guess it shows how much I love it. (btw, wouldn’t reccomend it for anyone on the very far right, or the very far left, but midway with a left stance is pretty much it.)

J- I heard about the animation podcast, I’ll give it a try. And thanks for the other links, they look to be very interesting.

Regis- Glad you like the new blog. X) It’s fun to make the images for the header. Cropping photos it’s more fun than I thought!
Thanks for the link and warm recommendation I will certainly check that out, I like the Daily Show.

Cedric- cool, have to listen to it now!

Interestingly most recs I get (even here at work) are for “talk podcasts”, as opposed to music ones. Oh well … ok, keep them coming, more Recs !

I also got another recommendation here it is:

here is a suggestion for your listening pleasure. http://www.worldtalkradio.com/archives.asp?sid=68 A free weekly comic book related interview show online.
Not a pod cast per se, but I think it is good background chatter while I’m working. mostly mainstream and classic comic book related, but cool none the less.
